My Story
From a young age, I was surrounded by creativity. My dad would spend hours drawing — from bold lettering to strange, distorted characters. My biggest inspiration, my mom. Creating art in her own way, through food. Meanwhile sketching ideas for desserts then bringing them to life.
As I grew older and experienced the ups and downs of life — my parents' separation, moving from state to state, heartbreak, and depression — art became my way to translate emotion into something visual. Painting is how I process and share what I feel.
The music my parents played around me was just as influential. I want people to experience my work the way I experience music — to feel something deeply, to interpret it in their own way, and to sense the emotion behind it.
I’m inspired by painters like Caravaggio and Bouguereau, whose ability to capture raw human emotion through realism and dramatic composition continues to influence my own artistic vision. I honor the quiet patience, the relentless practice, and the devotion it takes to become something more through art.
